Like My New Sunnies?

Glasses are a key element to my life, without them I wouldn't be able to see! When choosing both eye glasses and sunglasses I make sure to do some research as these pieces can get very expensive.  The time has come to retire my purple Ray-Ban's so I hit the internet to find myself some new sunnies.  Two words - Warby Parker.  I had heard about Warby Parker eyeglasses so I decided to see what was available on the sunglasses side.  I could get a quality pair of polarized sunglasses for $95! I immediately found a perfect pair!

Happy Birthday Stacie!

My G's have a very special place in my heart. They are my girls who know me inside and out, they are a group of girls that any girl would be lucky to have surrounding them.  Today we celebrate a G's birthday - Stacie! Stacie is an amazing friend, wife and soon to be mama! I wish Stacie the best in this next year of her life!

Happy Opening Day!

Today my beloved boys in blue played their first home game this afternoon at Chavez Ravine and they won! 

I can't wait to catch a handful of games this summer with my family and friends - I can already smell the garlic fries : )

Happy Easter!

Easter is one of my favorite's! My day consisted of church, family and food - what more could I ask for on a beautiful 80 something degree Sunday afternoon? {I am very fortunate to have both sides of my family be in the same town.}  I first lunched with my mother's side of the family and for my dad's side of the family my sister and I tried something a little different...We hosted all of our cousin's for an Easter dessert celebration! We spent time with our grandfather, enjoyed the perfect evening, had a wii sports tournament, had a nighttime egg hunt and of course enjoyed delicious desserts from cookies to cupcakes and I even made some special "Easter Juice"!

April is Here!

I can't believe I have let three months pass me by so quickly.  I want to make 2012 a year to remember! This is MY year! I am working on becoming an overall better person this year in my personal and professional life. I'm in a new chapter in my life and thus far this chapter could not be any more confusing.  I find myself constantly worrying about what my next step will be, I need to learn to not worry my life away! 

P.S. Happy Easter! (I gave up meat for Lent and tomorrow I can finally have some carne asada tacos!)
